Lisa's Story
Lisa had a successful career, working in corporate America for almost 2 decades. In her quest to reach one of her goals, connecting with women and helping them envision their dreams; in 2002, Lisa realized her own life-long dream by pursuing her degree in Psychology. In the last year of studies with just 5 classes left before graduation, Lisa’s life changed forever.
The diagnosis of a brain tumor just a few months after her 40th birthday left Lisa and her family facing a very frightening time considering what could be her future. Just a few weeks after the diagnosis Lisa went through a 6-hour surgery to remove a tumor that had been slowly occupying space in her head for almost ten years. Lisa’s belief that you can "create your life consciously" truly changed the story of what could have been during her recovery. The potential outcome of surgery included paralysis, stroke, loss of her memory and possibly her eyesight. Miraculously, none of what the doctors suggested could happen; did happen. Just 6 months after surgery, Lisa re-enrolled in school with the steadfast goal of completing her course work. In December 2004; on the one-year anniversary of her diagnosis, Lisa graduated and received her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Psychology from Regis University.
Today, just a few years after that life-changing event, Lisa is a successful mentor coach and consultant. Life continues to bring amazing possibilities for Lisa as she continues to follow the belief that, “Everything You Think, You Create.”
